My last wedding of 2017 was Laura and Todd’s beautiful Christmas themed wedding at the Inn at Old Silk Mill. It was stunning! The morning started off with all the girls in the cutest baseball shirts, getting ready. Followed by Laura and Todd each opening a gift from one another (there were some tears), and then their first look! It was so emotional and such a special moment! After the first look, Laura had a first look with both of her dads, and that was so sweet too! I love first looks with the dads. They don’t happen often, but when they do, it’s perfect.
Fast forward to ceremony – there was a part in there that made Todd laugh really loud, and made Laura want to burry her face in her hands, and I’m REAL curious as to what that was about! So fill me in if you know 😉 After the ceremony, was probably THE best reception I’ve ever been to. Laura and Todd are big into music, so they hired a band to play at the reception called Turtle Recall, and they were AMAZING. I definitely recommend seeing them if you live in the NOVA/DC area, or even hiring them for your own wedding!
To top off their amazing wedding night, Laura and Todd exited the venue with a “snow exit” – something I’d never heard of or seen done before – and it was magical! I forgot to mention that it also snowed real snow the morning of this wedding, so talk about a fitting exit and good timing!
It was SO hard to narrow down my favorites from this wedding, so here are just a few! I hope you enjoy 🙂
