Ryan and Tara got married last month at The Osprey’s at Belmont Bay, and it was magical! It’s funny because the day before their wedding, I had another bride and groom that also got married at Osprey’s. Talk about a coincidence! The cool thing though was that both weddings were so unique to each couple, that you’d never know it was the same venue because of that. Each of their decoration choices, colors, and so on, made every aspect of the day different than the other.
During Ryan and Tara’s ceremony, there were lots of tears. I mean lots! This was the teariest, but happiest wedding that I’ve ever been to! You could just tell that this wedding meant so much to everyone involved with Tara and Ryan’s big day. But although there were tears, there were also some laughs. Can we just talk about the guy that stopped his boat behind the ceremony on the lake, and turned up his music so loud, just so he could play that George Straight song, All My Ex’s Live In Texas. It was HILARIOUS! Luckily, Ryan and Tara both have a sense of humor and were able to laugh it off, because that guy played it for longer than just a second. Also, can we talk about the speeches? I learned Ryan has a nickname.. I think it was Snake Boy, if I remember correctly! I’ll be sure to update his contact information to that ASAP 😉
Everything about their day was perfect, and you can tell just how much they love and respect one another just by watching them interact with each other. It was amazing to be able to see their chemistry out there on the dance floor, or when they had their first look, for example. It makes me so happy when I’m able to witness emotions like that and have the honor of capturing them myself. I also love that I was able to not only capture some great photos of the bride getting ready, but can we also talk about the groom? He had so many cool details for his suit that he had specially made, and I’m basically planning to make a blog post just about how great it was haha! But seriously, SO many great details!
Tara and Ryan, thank you for letting me be a part of your big day. I truly was honored to capture your love, and I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite pictures.
